Don’t Miss These 2018 Vermont Beer Festivals

With over 55 breweries in Vermont, there are releases of new beers every week across the state. One of the best ways to sample the diverse craft beers being produced throughout the Green Mountain State are beer festivals. Here are six upcoming beer festivals in Vermont for summer and fall 2018.


Friday, July 20 - Saturday, July 21 | 12:00-4PM, 5:30-9:30PM

Burlington Waterfront Park, Burlington, Vermont

Arguably the premiere craft beer festival in Vermont hosted by the Vermont Brewers Association, the Vermont Brewers Festival has a been a gathering for beer connoisseurs since 1995. There are two sessions daily during the festival and will be  over 250 beers poured from nearly 50 breweries. There’s also a beer and cheese pairing in the Experience Tent; each session is 30 minutes and features diverse pairings to sample.


Ludlow, Vermont

Friday, August 3 - Sunday, August 5 | 5:00PM - 9PM Friday, 12PM-8PM Saturday, 11AM-5PM on Sunday

At Ludlow’s beer and wine festival, sample over 80 craft beers, ciders and wines in the Jackson Gore courtyard. Additionally, take advance of the Adventure Zone with ziplining, segway tours, and other fun event. There’s even a chicken wing championship with local Okemo Valley restaurants on Saturday.

The Stowe Brewers Festival features 120+ craft brews, wines, spirits and cocktails, held on the Stowe Events Field. The festival also includes live music, food trucks, workshops, and a vendor fair.

Tunbridge Fairgrounds, Tunbridge, Vermont

The third annual Vermont NanoFest is a celebration of tiny breweries in Vermont, including Brocklebank Craft Brewing, Bent Hill Brewery, Good Measure Brewing Co, Kickback Brewery, Red Barn Brewing, Saint J Brewing, Upper Pass Beer Co., Green Empire Brewing a handful of others. With live bluegrass music and BBQ, wood-fired pizza, taco and churro food trucks, the event is family-friendly and held at the expansive Tunbridge Fairgrounds.


Friday, September 21 - Saturday, September 22 | 6PM-10AM Friday, 5:30PM-9:30PM Saturday

Burlington Waterfront Park, Burlington, Vermont

Held at the Waterfront Park in Burlington, Oktoberfest is a Bavarian-themed festival with over 40 breweries showcasing 100 beers in attendance. Live music and dancing, carnival games, and costume contests round out the “ultimate Bavarian carnival” festival.
