This month's Art Walk in downtown Montpelier features celebrated photographer Ethan Hubbard at The Shoe Horn on Langdon Street - Friday, December 2 from 4-8pm. Hubbard curates a series of photographs from his book Thirty Below Zero: In Praise of Native Vermonters, a collection of portraits that pays tribute to native Vermonters in images captured over a 40-year period from 1964-2004.

In Hubbard’s own words, “These are men and women whose bloodlines carry 200 years of cold and snow, hardship and laughter, tribulations and triumphs, and thankfulness to be alive.” Copies of Hubbard's book Thirty Below Zero will be on sale during the event at a special price of just $5, with all proceeds benefiting Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports.

Hubbard's works will remain on display at The Shoe Horn for the month of December. More local artists will be featured at participating venues across town during Friday night's Art Walk. For more information on Ethan Hubbard at Art Walk, visit
