Free and open to the public, Norwich University’s Sullivan Museum and History Center presents Smithsonian Institution Curator of Oceanic Ethnology Dr. Adrienne L Kaeppler’s “Polynesian Treasures of the Wilkes Expedition, 1838 to 1842,” a talk held in conjunction with the Museum’s new exhibit, “Explorers of Norwich,” which delves into Norwich alumni who traversed the United States, the continents and the world in search of new lands, new opportunities and new discoveries on behalf of the new nation.
