Learn about the ins and outs of sugaring in this half-day workshop, held at Craig’s Sugarhouse near Maple Corner in Calais. Forest health, the mechanics of sap flow, tapping guidelines, equipment needed, boiling, filtering and canning will all be discussed and demonstrated. Please dress appropriately for an afternoon spent outside in late winter; warm boots and snowshoes recommended. Please pre-register
