Description:

Spring through summer, calling frogs and toads grace the soundscape of a Vermont night. Learn the ecology and vocalizations of our 11 species of anurans, from the diminutive peep of the Spring Peeper to the deep, resonant “jug-a-rum” of the American Bullfrog. After a slide show at the Coop, we’ll carpool to Elm Street Recreation Area parking lot and take an evening hike to the beaver ponds of the North Branch Park. Water-proof rubber boots are best, but not required. Please bring a flashlight. Held in the Hunger Mountain Coop community room. Access to freight elevator through back room available upon request.
