Meet Montpelier’s Herptofanua!

with John Jose, Biologist

Gain insight into the fascinating natural histories and field identification techniques for local herps (amphibians and reptiles), while we explore two of Montpelier’s ecological jewels: Hubbard Park and North Branch River Park, which play host to a diverse assemblage of salamanders, frogs, turtles, and snakes. Please wear appropriate footwear for trail hiking and visiting aquatic habitats (vernal pools and beaver ponds). Boots are best. Everyone will meet in The Coop’s Community Room and carpool from there. Children and families are welcome. Held in the Hunger Mountain Coop community room. Access to freight elevator through back room available upon request. Please pre-register
