What: The Camel’s Hump Challenge is a unique wilderness ski touring event which brings spirited backcountry skiers together to ski entirely around the perimeter of Camel’s Hump (13+ miles). Participants raise money to support their “Round the Hump” trek. All skiers collect a minimum of $150 in pledges and/or donations to fund education and outreach support for Vermonters living with Alzheimer's and their caregiving networks. Registration is open!

Special Considerations: The Camel's Hump Challenge offers Nordic skiing in a remote wilderness environment. Participation demands a high degree of physical conditioning and competence in backcountry skiing. Skiers must be properly prepared and equipped with backcountry boots, skis and the appropriate clothing. There will be a sweep group following behind the participants. If for any reason you have doubts about your ability to make the full trip, please sponsor another skier or team
